🌿 Fee Adjustment Notice from Catherine Chow RMT & IBCLC – Effective 1 November 2025 🌿 CCHPBC has announced significant licensing fee increases for all RMTs. Fees are rising in two stages (November 2025 and March 2027) to meet new provincial requirements under the Health Professions and Occupations Act.
To continue providing high-quality, specialized care while keeping pace with these changes, my service fees will be adjusted as follows, effective November 2025: • 60-minute Registered Massage Therapy: $150 (previously $140) • Lactation Massage (60 minutes): $189 (previously $179) • 90-minute sessions: adjusted proportionately
This modest increase helps cover the rising costs of licensing, professional training, and clinic operations. Insurance coverage remains applicable as before.

Lactation Consulting
Our lactation consulting services are provided by a board-certified International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). An IBCLC is a highly trained professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. They possess the skills and knowledge to address a wide range of breastfeeding issues, from basic latch problems to more complex medical concerns.
Please note that our lactation consulting services are not covered by MSP. Insurance coverage varies by company, so please check with your insurance provider prior to booking. For example, federal employees may be entitled to $300 per year for lactation consulting.
Lactation consulting is essential for mothers experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding. Whether you're a first-time mom or have had children before, our IBCLC can provide valuable support and guidance. You may need lactation consulting if you encounter issues such as poor latch, low milk supply, breast pain, or other breastfeeding challenges. Additionally, our services are beneficial for those with premature babies, multiples, or babies with special needs.
